Tripepsa is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Pantoprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

warnings Alcohol CAUTION It is unsafe to consume alcohol with It. Taking a large amount of alcohol can increase acidity and cause acid reflux in the food pipe causing heartburn. This would decrease the effect of this drug and can aggravate your underlying condition. warnings Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS It may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body. warnings Driving It may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear. warnings Kidney CAUTION It should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of It may be needed.
