How it works Trental 400 Tablet ER is a peripheral vasodilator. It works by decreasing the thickness (viscosity) of blood, allowing it to pass more easily through the blood vessels. This effect is beneficial in peripheral vascular disease, where the blood vessels in the arms and legs are narrowed.
