This medicine is an anticholinergic medication. It works by decreasing the activity of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine) in the brain. This improves muscle control and reduces stiffness in Parkinson's disease. It also improves movement disorder (restlessness, involuntary movements or muscle spasm) caused by certain other medicines.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. This medicine is to be taken with food.
Interactions / Warnings
Contraindicated in glaucoma, narrow-angle; hypersensitivity to trihexyphenidyl or to any of the other ingredients .
