Trajenta 5 mg Tablet is an antidiabetic medication. It works by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas and decreasing the hormones that raise blood sugar levels. This reduces the fasting and postmeal sugar levels.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Trajenta 5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Taking linagliptin with alcohol may affect blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes. warnings Pregnancy PROBABLY SAFE Trajenta 5 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor. warnings Lactation Trajenta 5 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. warnings Driving Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is low or high. If this happens, do not drive. warnings Kidney SAFE Trajenta 5 mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Trajenta 5 mg Tablet is recommended. warnings Liver SAFE Trajenta 5 mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Trajenta 5 mg Tablet is recommended.
