Alcohol CAUTION It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Torsemide. Taking Torsamide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate. warnings Pregnancy PROBABLY SAFE Torsemide is probably safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor. warnings Lactation Torsemide is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. warnings Driving Torsemide may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive. warnings Kidney SAFE Torsemide is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Torsemide is recommended. However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease as the use of Torsemide should be avoided in case you are unable to pass urine or the kidney damage is due to some medicines. warnings Liver CAUTION Torsemide should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Torsemide may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
