Tegrital 400 is an antiepileptic medication. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
How to use
Use it as advised by your doctor or check the label for directions before use. Tegrital 400 may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

warnings Alcohol CAUTION Tegrital 400 may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol. warnings Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS Tegrital 400 is unsafe to use during pregnancy. There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor. warnings Lactation SAFE Tegrital 400 is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby. warnings Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Tegrital 400 can make you feel dizzy or drowsy especially at the start of treatment. If you are affected in this way, or if your eyesight is affected, you should not drive. warnings Kidney CAUTION Tegrital 400 should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease.
