SR Pevesca Plus 75 Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Pregabalin, Methylcobalamin/Mecobalamin, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) and Folic Acid. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Methylcobalamin/Mecobalamin and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) are forms of vitamin B which help in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. Folic Acid is also a form of vitamin B which provides essential nutrients to the nerves. Together, they relieve neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. SR Pevesca Plus 75 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Interactions / Warnings
SR Pevesca Plus 75 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
