warnings Alcohol CAUTION It is unsafe to consume alcohol with It. Taking Propranolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate. warnings Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS It may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor. warnings Lactation It is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. warnings Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well. It may cause visual disturbances, hallucinations, fatigue, mental confusion, dizziness or tiredness. This may affect your driving ability. warnings Kidney SAFE It is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of It is recommended. However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease. It may be started with a low dose and then increased further. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is advisable for dose adjustment. warnings Liver CAUTION It should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of It may be needed.
