Alcohol CAUTION It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Omeprazole. warnings Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS Omeprazole may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor. warnings Lactation Omeprazole is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. warnings Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Omeprazole may cause dizziness and visual disturbances. This may affect your driving ability. warnings Kidney SAFE Omeprazole is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Omeprazole is recommended. warnings Liver Omeprazole should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Omeprazole may be needed. Please consult your doctor. A lower dose may be advised in patients with liver disease and who have to take this medicine for a long time.
