Olmesartan Tablet is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It relaxes the blood vessel by blocking the action of a chemical that usually makes blood vessels tighter. This lowers the blood pressure, allowing the blood to flow more smoothly to different organs and the heart to pump more efficiently.

Alcohol CAUTION It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Olmesartan. Taking Olmesartan with alcohol may excessively lower the blood pressure. warnings Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS Olmesartan is unsafe to use during pregnancy. There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor. warnings Lactation Olmesartan is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. warnings Driving Olmesartan may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive. warnings Kidney Olmesartan should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Olmesartan may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is advisable for dose adjustment. warnings Liver Olmesartan should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Olmesartan may be needed. Please consult your doctor. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild liver disease.
