How it works
It is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Olmesartan Medoxomil and Metoprolol Succinate. Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels. Metoprolol Succinate is a beta blocker which works specifically on the heart to reduce heart rate and lower blood pressure. Together they allow the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently.

UNSAFE It is unsafe to consume alcohol with It Pregnancy CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR It is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor. Lactation SAFE IF PRESCRIBED It is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Driving UNSAFE It may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. It may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive. Kidney CAUTION It should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of It may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
