Alcohol CAUTION It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Levetiracetam. warnings Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS Levetiracetam may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor. warnings Lactation Levetiracetam is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. Monitor the baby for sleepiness and adequate weight gain warnings Driving Levetiracetam may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive. warnings Kidney CAUTION Levetiracetam should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Levetiracetam may be needed. Please consult your doctor. warnings Liver Levetiracetam is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data aVialable suggests that dose adjustment of Levetiracetam may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. However, a lower dose may be advised in patients with severe liver disease.
