Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (Octinoxate): It reflect or scatter UV rays; it protects the skin from sunburn and and other skin damage caused by UV light by absorbing UV radiation (sun light). It absorbs ultraviolet radiation in the UVB range. Propylene glycol: It acts like a humectant, which means it binds water and pulls in hydration to the outer skin layer. It helps give the skin a hydrated, dewy appearance. Oxybenzone: It absorbs both the UVB and UVA rays. The primary function of oxybenzone is to absorb ultraviolet light, and provides effective broad spectrum protection from UV radiation. Avobenzone: protects the skin from the sunburn-causing UVB rays, avobenzone also protects from UVA rays, the rays that cause premature aging and skin cancer. Glyceryl Monostearate: It slows down the transepidermal water loss from the skin by forming a film on the skin's surface. This helps to maintain the moisture balance needed for the skin to be healthy and lubricates the skin's surface to give it a soft and smooth appearance. Vitamin E: An excellent moisturizer. It contains powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory action and helps to prevent the signs of premature ageing, as inflammatory conditions in the skin is a leading cause of skin ageing. It has a protecting action against UV radiation. Glycerin: It acts as a barrier against the harmful rays of the sun and environmental pollutants while sealing in the moisture. Also, acts an emollient, making skin moist, soft and supple. Kokum butter: Provides antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties that makes it ideal for damaged skin. It rejuvenates the damaged skin cells, prevents drying of the skin, delays development of wrinkles, softens the skin and restores youthful looking skin.
How to use
prior to sun exposure, apply liberally and evenly over areas to be protected. Always reapply after swimming or excessive prespiration
