How it works Diclofenac, which is used to treat acute muscular pain. Diclofenac belongs to the class of medications known as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by reducing pain, swelling, and inflammation by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins.
How to use To be used as directed by physician
Interactions / Warnings Alcohol CAUTION It is unsafe to consume alcohol with it. Taking diclofenac with alcohol can increase your risk of stomach bleeding. warnings Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS it is unsafe to use during pregnancy. There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor. warnings Lactation it is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. warnings Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well. it may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive. warnings Kidney CAUTION it should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of it may be needed. Please consult your doctor. warnings Liver CAUTION it should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of it may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended in patients with liver disease if this medicine is to be taken for a long time.
