Bandy-Plus Suspension is a combination of two antiparasitic medicines: Ivermectin and Albendazole. Ivermectin works by binding to muscle and nerve cells of worms causing their paralysis and death. Albendazole works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), so that they lose energy and die. This treats your infection effectively.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Bandy-Plus Suspension may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Interactions / Warnings
Alert your doctor if you are pregnant. Do not take Albendazole if you are pregnant. - It is important that you do not get pregnant while being treated with Albendazole. - You may wish to discuss birth control methods with your doctor or pharmacist, especially if you are taking Albendazole for a longer period, such as for a month. - Avoid pregnancy for at least 1 month after you stop taking Albendazole. - Alert your doctor if you are breastfeeding.
