This medicine is a combination of three medicines: Phenylephrine, Beclometasone and Lidocaine/Lignocaine, which treats piles. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which shrinks the blood vessels in the affected area of skin and decreases swelling. Beclometasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Lidocaine/Lignocaine is a local anesthetic which works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to the brain thereby decreasing pain sensation.
How to use
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
Interactions / Warnings
Contraindicated in Hypersensitivity to betamethasone, other corticosteroids, or any component of the product.
