| How it works | Amlozaar-H Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Losartan, Amlodipine and Hydrochlorothiazide. Losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow. |
| How to use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Amlozaar-H Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. |
| Interactions / Warnings | Contrindicated in hypersensitivity to losartan or any product components, Concomitant use with aliskiren in patients with diabetes. |
