This Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and Atenolol, which lowers blood pressure effectively. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker which works by relaxing blood vessels while atenolol is a beta blocker which works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate. Together, they make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. This Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Interactions / Warnings
Contraindicated in Cardiogenic shock, Hypersensitivity to atenolol/ amlodipine or any component of the product , Overt cardiac failure , Second and third degree heart block , Sinus bradycardia.
