How to use
Use an alcohol swab or rubbing alcohol to clean the injecting area. Wash your hands before using your pen as well and clean the area where the needle twists onto the pen with an alcohol swab or a cotton ball. Screw the needle onto the insulin pen by rotating it clockwise and pull off the big outer needle cap, do not throw it away. Pull off the inner needle cap and dispose of it. Be careful not to bend or damage the needle before use. Turn the dosing knob to select a dose of 2 units and push the dosing knob all the way in with the needle pointed up, make sure that a drop of insulin appears at the tip of the needle. Repeat the process if no insulin appears. Make sure that the dose is set back at 0 when the process is complete. If you still do not see insulin appear at the needle tip after several attempts, check the pen for bubbles or try changing the needle and attempting this again. Set the dosage as mentioned by the physician by twisting the knob and double check the dose window for assuring that the dose is proper and insert the needle into pinched skin at 90 angle to the body. Press the knob all the way down till the 0 lines up with the dose arrow. Hold the needle in place for 10 seconds while keeping the dose button pushed down until removing the needle. Remove the needle quickly by pulling the pen straight out of the skin.

Use the mentioned insulin cartridge as prescribed by the physician. Do not change the cartridge without consulting the physician. Use as directed by the physician. Please follow the instructions carefully while reloading the needle and the insulin cartridge. Do not refrigerate. Please discard the needle after use.
