How it works | Ace revelol 50/5 is a combination of two medicines: Metoprolol and ramipril which lower blood pressure effectively. Metoprolol is a beta blocker which works by slowing down the heart rate and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body. Ramipril is an ACE inhibitor which reduces stress on the heart and relaxes blood vessel so that blood flows more smoothly. |

Interactions / Warnings | warnings Alcohol CAUTION It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Ace revelol 50/5. Taking Metoprolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate. warnings Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS Ace revelol 50/5 is unsafe to use during pregnancy. There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor. warnings Lactation Ace revelol 50/5 is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. warnings Driving Ace revelol 50/5 may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive. warnings Kidney CAUTION Ace revelol 50/5 should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ace revelol 50/5 may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
