This is an antiparasitic medication. It works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), thereby depleting their energy level. This causes the worms to die and treats your infection.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Bandy Suspension may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Interactions / Warnings
Alert your doctor if you are pregnant. Do not take Albendazole if you are pregnant. - It is important that you do not get pregnant while being treated with Albendazole. - You may wish to discuss birth control methods with your doctor or pharmacist, especially if you are taking Albendazole for a longer period, such as for a month. - Avoid pregnancy for at least 1 month after you stop taking Albendazole. - Alert your doctor if you are breastfeeding.
