Brimonidine Ophthalmic Solution is a combination of two medicines: Brimonidine and Stabilized Oxychloro. Brimonidine is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. It works by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure. Stabilized Oxychloro is a preservative.

warnings Alcohol No interaction found/established warnings Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS it may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor. warnings Lactation it is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. To reduce the amount of it that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue. warnings Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well. it may cause blurred or abnormal vision. This effect may seem worse at night or in reduced lighting and this may affect the ability to drive. warnings Kidney No interaction found/established warnings Liver No interaction found/established
