warnings Alcohol Interaction with alcohol is unknown. Please consult your doctor. warnings Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS Bisacodyl may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor. warnings Lactation Bisacodyl is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. warnings Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Patients may experience dizziness and/or syncope due to a vasovagal response (e.g. to abdominal spasm). If patients experience abdominal spasm they should avoid driving. warnings Kidney There is limited information aVialable on the use of Bisacodyl in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor. Use of Bisacodyl is generally not advised if there is associated vomiting as the loss of body water can be harmful to kidney function. warnings Liver There is limited information aVialable on the use of Bisacodyl in patients with liver disease.
