How it works
It is a combination of two medicines: S-Amlodipine and Atenolol which lower blood pressure effectively. S-Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker which works by relaxing blood vessels while Atenolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate. Together, they make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.

warnings Alcohol CAUTION It is unsafe to consume alcohol with it. Atenolol and alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate. warnings Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS it is unsafe to use during pregnancy. There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor. warnings Lactation CAUTION it is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby. warnings Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well. warnings Kidney CAUTION it should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of it may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
