How it works
This Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and hydrochlorothiazide which lower blood pressure effectively. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker which relaxes blood vessels and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body by increasing the amount of urine produced. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.

warnings Alcohol CAUTION It is unsafe to consume alcohol with It. warnings Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS It is unsafe to use during pregnancy. There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor. warnings Lactation It is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. warnings Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well. It may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive. warnings Kidney SAFE It is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of It is recommended. warnings Liver CAUTION It should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of It may be needed. Please consult your doctor. It is started at a lower dose in patients with liver disease and further increased slowly with careful monitoring.
