Accu-Chek Softclix Lancets are used together with Accu-Chek Softclix lancing device to allow virtually pain-free collection of capillary blood from fingertip. There are 11 penetration depth settings so users can choose the one most comfortable for their experience.
How to use
Pull of the cap from the lancing device.Insert a new lancet in the lancet holder and push it in until it clicks.Remove the protective cap from the lancet with a twisting motion.Press the cap onto the lancing device again until it clicks.Set the penetration depth by rotating the Comfort Dial (cap).Press the priming button until it clicks.Press the lancing device firmly against the chosen puncture site and activate the release button.Gently massage the finger in the direction of the fingertip to encourage a drop of blood to form.After measuring blood glucose, eject the used lancet by removing the cap from the lancing device then slide the plunger forward.Attach the cap again after ejection.
