Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which in turn relieves acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pantoprazole is to be taken empty stomach.

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED Pantoprazole is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies. warnings Breastfeeding SAFE IF PRESCRIBED Pantoprazole is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. warnings Driving CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR It is not known whether Pantoprazole alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react. warnings Kidney SAFE IF PRESCRIBED Pantoprazole is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Pantoprazole is recommended. warnings Liver CAUTION Pantoprazole should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Pantoprazole may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
