Voglibose is an anti-diabetic medication. It inhibits an enzyme that helps in conversion of carbohydrates to glucose. This slows down carbohydrate digestion/absorption thereby preventing increase in blood glucose after meals.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Voglibose is to be taken with food.

warnings Alcohol CAUTION It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Voglibose. Taking Voglibose with alcohol reduce the blood sugar levels in diabetic patients. warnings Pregnancy PROBABLY SAFE Voglibose is probably safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor. warnings Lactation Voglibose is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. warnings Driving SAFE Voglibose does not usually affect your ability to drive. warnings Kidney Voglibose should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease.
