Ceftas Cv Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cefixime and Potassium Clavulanate. Cefixime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Potassium Clavulanate is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefixime against bacteria.

Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.Ceftas Cv Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.It is not known whether Ceftas Cv Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.Ceftas Cv Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ceftas Cv Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Ceftas Cv Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ceftas Cv Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Regular monitoring of liver function tests is advised while you are taking this medicine.
