Tide 5 Tablet is a diuretic. It removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body by increasing the amount of urine produced. In doing so, it causes potassium loss.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tide 5 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Interactions / Warnings
Alcohol CAUTION It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Tide 5 Tablet. Taking Torsamide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate. warnings Pregnancy PROBABLY SAFE Tide 5 Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor. warnings Lactation Tide 5 Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. warnings Driving Tide 5 Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive. warnings Kidney SAFE Tide 5 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Tide 5 Tablet is recommended. However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease as the use of Tide 5 Tablet should be avoided in case you are unable to pass urine or the kidney damage is due to some medicines. warnings Liver CAUTION Tide 5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tide 5 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
