How it works Telplus Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cilnidipine and Telmisartan, which lowers blood pressure effectively. Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB) and Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). They work by relaxing the blood vessels and making the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.
How to use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Telplus Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Interactions / Warnings warnings Alcohol CAUTION It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Telplus Tablet. Taking Telmisartan with alcohol may excessively lower the blood pressure. warnings Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS Telplus Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy. There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor. warnings Driving Telplus Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive. warnings Kidney There is limited information aVialable on the use of Telplus Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor. warnings Liver CAUTION Telplus Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Telplus Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Telplus Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
