Cardivas 25 Tablet is an alpha and beta blocker. It works by slowing down the heart rate and relaxing blood vessels which makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cardivas 25 Tablet is to be taken with food.
Interactions / Warnings
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Cardivas 25 Tablet.Cardivas 25 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.Cardivas 25 Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.Cardivas 25 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.Cardivas 25 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Cardivas 25 Tablet is recommended. However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended for dose adjustment.Cardivas 25 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Cardivas 25 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Cardivas 25 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
