Syndopa 110 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Levodopa and Carbidopa which treats Parkinsonism. Levodopa is a dopamine precursor which gets converted to dopamine, a chemical messenger that controls movement in the brain. Carbidopa is a peripheral decarboxylase inhibitor which prevents breakdown of levodopa allowing it to enter the brain and increase dopamine levels.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Syndopa 110 Tablet is to be taken empty stomach. Avoid Syndopa 110 Tablet with high protein meals such as cottage cheese, Swiss cheese, protein powder, eggs and milk.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Syndopa 110 Tablet.Syndopa 110 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.Syndopa 110 Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Partial to complete suppression of lactation was seen in mothers on the treatment with Syndopa 110 Tablet, but when the treatment was stopped, lactation returned to normal levels.Syndopa 110 Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. As Syndopa 110 Tablet may cause dizziness, drowsiness, double vision, which may affect your ability to react which may affect your ability to drive.Syndopa 110 Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data aVialable suggests that dose adjustment of Syndopa 110 Tablet may not be needed in these patients.
