Cabgolin 0.5 Tablet works by decreasing the release of prolactin, a hormone that stimulates breast milk production. This stops the production of breast milk in case of stillbirth, abortion or miscarriage.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cabgolin 0.5 Tablet is to be taken with food.

Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Cabgolin 0.5 Tablet is usually not used during breastfeeding because it suppresses lactation.Cabgolin 0.5 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.Cabgolin 0.5 Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data aVialable suggests that dose adjustment of Cabgolin 0.5 Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.If you miss a dose of Cabgolin 0.5 Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
