Alcohol SAFE It is generally safe to consume alcohol with Moxifloxacin. warnings Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS Moxifloxacin may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor. warnings Lactation CAUTION Moxifloxacin is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby. warnings Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Moxifloxacin may make you feel dizzy or light-headed, you may experience a sudden, transient loss of vision, or you may faint for a short period. This may affect your driving ability. warnings Kidney SAFE Moxifloxacin is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Moxifloxacin is recommended. However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. warnings Liver Moxifloxacin should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Moxifloxacin may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Limited information is aVialable on the use of Moxifloxacin in these patients.
